About this event
Bmore Beautiful has teamed up with the Master Gardeners of Baltimore City to present to you a series of virtual lectures on gardening with nature! Learn how to grow baywise and pollinator gardens, keep bees and start native plants from seed! Working with nature to create ecologically beneficial gardens is a great way to make our city a more beautiful and sustainable place!
Baywise Gardening October 7th (7pm to 8:30pm)
Native Perennial Seed Starting October 28th (7pm to 8:30pm)
Container Pollinator Gardening November 4th (7pm to 8:30pm)
Join one of our tree giveaways this fall and discover the many benefits of native trees.
Blue Water Baltimore and TreeBaltimore are partnering with the Department of Public Works (DPW) to offer a variety of tree species! From smaller flowering and fruiting trees to large canopy trees, every tree makes a difference. Trees cool and clean our air, absorb stormwater, increase biodiversity, and beautify our neighborhoods.
Baltimore GROW Centers (Green Resources & Outreach for Watersheds) are your neighborhood greening resource hubs, linking city residents, communities, and faith-based groups to plants, materials, and technical expertise for greening projects. These pop-up events provide free and/or low cost trees, mulch, plants, and other materials, as well as free workshops on topics including community greening, vacant lot revitalization, and installing rain gardens and rain barrels.
